This December, Wagons Ho Ho Ho slated to build 800 wagons … filling them with food and delivering to families in need in more than 20 counties throughout Ohio. A precious gift of a wagon to child who otherwise wouldn’t know Christmas.
What does this have to do with you? And what can YOU do to celebrate Christmas in July?
1. Make a Commitment! Save the Date. This December 6, YOU could be a part of the Wagon Building Party. Come by yourself, with your family or friends and even work buddies … but to be there!
2. Give Until it Hurts. Ok, don’t go that far … but do consider giving! Even the smallest of financial donations can be multiplied 11 fold with our partners’ buying power! And that means more food to fill those wagons. Amp the donation idea even further! Ask your employer if they have a “matching” donation program. We’ll love you for it!
3. Start Talking About Wagons Ho Ho Ho. Like them on Facebook, follow them on Twitter, check ‘em out on Pinterest and Instagram, join their email community! Spread the word as they lead up to the Wagons Building Party 2014!
Wagons Ho Ho Ho is a non-profit organization established to build 400 red wagons filled with food to more than 20 counties throughout central Ohio for children and families in need of assistance during the holidays.
Founded by RMD Advertising, Wagons Ho Ho Ho began six years ago as a way to become more involved in the Central Ohio community and help those less fortunate. Themission is to provide families with something that would bring them joy throughout the holiday season and the rest of the year, a new red wagon filled with food items.
“We are excited to be recognized as a finalist for our work with Wagons Ho Ho Ho. The ability to give back is the greatest gift of all and it’s something that shouldn’t be limited to just the holiday season… it should be every day,” said Sue Reninger, Managing Partner and Brand Strategist of RMD Advertising. “Every member of our team realizes how truly fortunate we are. And by working together as a team, we will increase our contribution each year as a way to remember that.”
In its inaugural year, 25 red wagons were donated and over the past 5 years tremendous growth has resulted from a positive community response to help grow the organization. Today, Wagons Ho Ho Ho is a community initiative that brings together a diverse group of people to help build 400 red wagons for a great cause.
